The Role
The Registrar and Community Relations Officer provides administrative support, fosters and maintains relationships and communications with current families, College groups and the wider community. The purpose of the role is to establish and develop relationships with prospective students and their families and manage and support the effective enrolment and transition of students into the College.

Suitable applicants will be able to demonstrate:

· Experience in managing and prioritising competing deadlines

Reception and Administration Officer

The Reception and Administration Officer will provide a broad range of Administrative support to the College community across Reception, Student Reception and the Principal’s Office.

Suitable applicants will be able to demonstrate:

  • Excellent written, oral communication and interpersonal skills including empathy, good listening skills and the ability to negotiate and liaise with parents/guardians, staff and students
  • Good understanding of administration and processes

Position Description

Teacher Librarian

The Teacher Librarian role is a contract position offered as a 0.4 (FTE) for Semester 2 of 2023.

We strive for excellence as a learning community which is student centred, curriculum focused, community oriented and culturally enriched. We are committed to maintaining a child safe environment. In the Mercy spirit, love, compassion and service underpin all we are and do.

Ideally this will be a teacher with a specific qualification in this area of education. They will provide a broad range of digital, print, electronic and audio-visual resources to support the learning outcomes of students and support effective teaching.

The role will also involve supporting English teachers with Wide Reading programs at a junior secondary level and conducting daily library duties such as borrowing books to students, returns, shelving of resources and purchasing of resources for teaching staff.
